The shaft is 5/8" x 1 7/8". It will work fine as long as the specs match(HP,RPM,Voltage,Phase)

A:
Lifespan is difficult to determine especially with single phase because there are a lot of factors but I would say 4-5 years now would be normal if it’s running all the time. On/Off us way worse for a motor.
