IEEE 841
IEEE 841 Severe Duty Electric Motors designed for harsh industrial environments. Reliable, energy-efficient, and built to meet IEEE 841 standards for petrochemical, chemical, and other demanding applications. Originally developed for the pulp and paper industry which is extremely harsh. These motors have IP66 rated Protech non contact seals which are two piece made from PTFE and a separate O-ring designed to retain grease or oil while excluding dust and water around rotating shafts. These motors are epoxy painted and feature tropicalized windings which protect against moisture. These motors has a standard 5 year warranty! If you are having problems with contaminants getting into a TEFC motor than IEE841 is the way to go.
